At Kids Count, we follow the EYFS nutrition guidance to provide healthy, balanced meals and snacks for all children. Our menus are carefully planned to include a variety of foods from the main food groups, including fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grains, protein sources, and dairy or suitable alternatives. We aim to encourage positive eating habits by offering nutritious options, limiting added sugar and salt, and ensuring water and milk are available throughout the day. Mealtimes are a relaxed and social experience where children are supported to explore new foods, develop independence, and build a healthy relationship with food.
